configuring the Specials

Hello.

can someone help me with the configuring of the Specials?? i have looked at everything and added a new product but i dont know how to setup the Specials.

When you enter a new product or when editing one there is a tab named prices click on that then on Add new specific price.

Now select the currency county and group typically these settings are OK as they are, now if this special is for a limited time enter the dates in the from - to text boxes.

Now you can state whether this special will be for 1 product or when you buy 5 or 10 what ever you need.

Next is the product price I only use this for setting prices for different groups so skip that for now.

Finally input the discount in the Apply a discount of and select the % if you select dollar amount you will get some strange results as it adds taxes to the amount (weird I know).

Click save and you have a special, if you have the specials module installed you should now see the product in the Shop specials block.
