Kribba
Hi. Helping out a friend how starting up a webshop. I have not started this project (started by another guy), just helping finish it. Im new to Prestashop. Never worked with it. Now. First I want to upgrade it to latest. Right now its 1.4.6.2 and when I try use the autoupdate module I get there is 62 files modified and cant use that method. Can I just to manuell upgrade, just upload all 1.4.9.0 files via ftp client? There is no changes made to database? Or is there another way to do it best? And looked at the language file for swedish and noticed that there was just one single file. At the version he has now the is lots of files in four different folders. It should be four folders with lots of files right? //Kribba Edited August 26, 2012 by Kribba (see edit history)
bellini13
if you want to manually upgrade, you should follow the guide http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS14/Updating+PrestaShop If you want to hire a professional who can get the job done quickly and correctly, send me a PM and we can discuss those details in more depth. The databases are upgraded during the process.
