floydian
Hello, After developing my theme on a local server I installed prestashop online on my server and put it in maintenance mode while making various tweaks. However there seems to be a problem when trying to access the front office. When I click add my ip it adds the ip of the domain/server, not the ip of my computer. If I manually add the correct ip, it still won't allow me to see the front office, just the message that the website is in maintenance mode. I searched the forum and found a simiar issue with a fix for 1.4.4, but apparently it won't work for my version. My server is apache and php version is 5.2.17 Thank you! El Patron
This may not be your case, but I know I've goofed on this myself, after you clicki add my ip address, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click save.
floydian
I definitely saved it The problem is that clicking add my ip adds the ip of the server. If I manually add my correct ip it won't let me see the front office. Now I just added username and password authentification to the .htaccess files, but it is a highly inconvenient way of working on a live website.
