Can you limit the quantity of an item per customer?

Hi, we are in the last phase of getting our Prestashop running – very impressed with everything. We have a specific category of products, where we only want to sell a maximum of two items per customer, but hold 400 items on stock.

Any suggestions?

I am looking for the same thing, limit orders to quantity 2 of each product ordered. If possible I would like to give a select few users permission to order larger quantities.
