bkreinhart
Very strange issue that I just cannot get to the bottom of. I'm going to do my best to explain what's going on. I have toolboxes with a number of different lengths, widths, heights and of course weights. I have them setup as different combinations to accommodate for the changes in dimensions. I have setup one of my products (and all of it's combinations) by entering the dimensions and weights (including changes in weight). Shipping is calculating for every product and every combination on that product only. On all of the other products I have set weights and dimensions for, the default product weight and dimensions are not being properly calculated by the UPS module. Once I change the configuration of the product in the front end, the proper shipping amount is displayed. Very confused as to why it worked earlier today but will not now. Is is a simple radio button that I am missing or have I found a glitch in the system? Any help appreciated. Very happy with Prestashop so far and have put in a decent amount of time. Would hate to have to go elsewhere for such a seemingly small issue.
bkreinhart
I should correct myself: I no longer believe that this is a UPS issue. I think this is an issue within the Prestashop back office, specifically with product weight combinations. I'm having the following issues: 1. The default product combination does not seem to be communicating it's weight to the shopping cart properly. Any other combination I select computes properly, just not the default. I tried changing the default combination to see if the problem would switch from the previous default to the new one and it did not. The issue stayed with the combination that was the default. NOTE: I have got #1 working properly on one of my products. I cannot get it working properly on the others. I have compared screens, radio buttons, everything I can think of to find a difference that would be causing this issue. I have no idea. 2. Modifying the "impact on weight" is also not communicating with the shopping cart properly. In my case, each toolbox combination results in a change in weight (+/- ~10 pounds). I have added the weights properly as per many different tutorials I have found online to make sure I was doing it right. Anyone have any ideas? I'll try just about anything ay this point.
