john74
Hello, When a sent a mail throught the order status change, the mail is sent using the default language of the shop, which is necessarily wrong, since the customer has bought in an other language. How can I access to translations of the default mail ? Even connecting using an administrator account in a different language, there is no change on the emails (I can see the status however in another language). Does anybody has already experienced such a case ? Thank you for any comment John Prestashop: 1.4.7.0 Edited August 21, 2012 by john74 (see edit history)
El Patron
Hi John, look and see if your template is translated into the language used by your cusomter, if it is not then the default lang of your shop mail will be sent. back office-->tools-->tranlsations under modify translations select e-mail template translations, then the flag of the language you expected the email to be sent in cheers, Fred
El Patron
update: you will need to upgrade to at least version 1.5.4.1 ps did not capture the customers language until this release...so it uses the shops default language (el stupido!) so no back office modules and/or functions can send email in customer language.
