indie-Zine
Hi. My link is http://indie-zine.com/iZPShop/ I'm trying to edit this theme. I tried thru FTP, but am totally petrified of messing it all up. 1. It is suppose to show 4 or 5 pics on the slide, its only showing two. I just edited the ones in the template, and saved as the same name, and it still just did two, is this a glitch? 2. The footer, mumbo jumbo. * Sigh * I don't even want that group of images and text there, and if I did, where do I edit this at? 3. I don't know why my header is so scrunched up, do I have to reduce the category count? 4.If somone would be up to chat, or help me with a couple other really small things I would appreciate it. Being self taught isn't always easy! Thank you in advance. xMis
phrasespot
When you list several problem in a single post like this, answer to the post you made feels like a big task. It may be a better idea to make one post for each problem. 1. It is suppose to show 4 or 5 pics on the slide, its only showing two. I can see five different images. I assume this is resolved? 2. The footer, mumbo jumbo. * Sigh * I don't even want that group of images and text there, and if I did, where do I edit this at? I cannot see a footer. In a default install CMS block adds the footer content. 3. I don't know why my header is so scrunched up, do I have to reduce the category count? Yes you have too many categories. Everything after 'HANDMADE ITEMS' are too many. If the theme/module you are using offers an option reduce the number displayed. Other option is to arrange your categories to have a lesser number of them. 4.If somone would be up to chat, or help me with a couple other really small things I would appreciate it. Post those problems, one problem per post Edited August 23, 2012 by phrasespot (see edit history)
