Order Amount Total Does Not Change After I Delete a Product

Recommended Posts

jamensonalvarez, please rename topic in manner to describe the sense of the problem. Here the lots of peoples who can just call the topic such "help, problem" etc., and topics list in such case will be not informative.

You put very shopr description about very big problem, but too lazy to describe all steps for developers to preproduce the problem.

Did You mean than customer prepare a cart, then continue shopping, in this time You from Backoffice remove one product that already in cart, than customer back to cart and chechout the order with removed product line?

1. Yes, you´re right. Sorry... I have a problem with the english, i am slowly learning. How can i rename the topic?

2. Ok let me explain the problem in details:

  • the customer prepare a cart.
  • i finish the order, with the delivery and invoice documents.
  • If i delete a product of my database that is in the cart... the product is not in the status of that order, like invoices... but the price is present in the total. So I have a problem because the sum of the prices of the products do not correspond to the total, including the fact that changes the order for future audits

I don´t know if i explain well...

Customer complete the checkout? What the status of this order?

You can delete product from catalog or turn off from ordering, but from the commerce point of view, You may have enought the real products to complete the order, because web-shop for a customers is just a storefront!

I guess this is not a PrestaShop problem, the situation can be solved using "Delayed delivery" option, but even I ask here how to use this feature, still can't test it.

1. Yes the customer complete the checkout and the shipping process is completed.

2. The problem is in the backoffice, in this order the status is Deliveried or Completed, the customer has the products in their hands.

3. I mention this problem because if you need to do an audit, the invoices must correspond with the orders completed... Even if the product had been deleted before of the database.

Thanks, if you cannot see the picture, please let me know

I see the image. Next time please switch language to English before you made a screenshot. I don't know Spanish without the help of http://translate.google.com :)

If the order status "Delivered", then the Customer receive the products that described in order. All correct from the Customer point of view.

All products shold not be present in catalog at the moment of audit, again - Catalog is just a StoreFront. Same case if You sell Oranges and Apples that present on Your physical storefront, customers can purchase both fruits, next day all Oranges sold - nothing of oranges on storefront, but You continue to sell only Apples, so where the problem?

I see no reason to keep strong link between lines in order and products in catalog, invoices show a purchase operations in the purchase moment (time).

How the product can be in order if it has been deleted before a checkout from catalog (database)?

yeah i´m sorry about that...

I understand that the catalog should not show the unavailable products, but i need that the invoice have all the products and prices of the purchase moment.

The Data that is in the picture, are the same that appear in the invoice. therefore is not recommended for audits because the total is not the same as the sum of the prices and there are missing products because were deleted before of the database. So, the invoice is not reliable because depends directly of the catalog and not of the purchase moment, at least with the descriptions of the items.

I tested chaging the prices and works well... The invoice is the same as the purchase moment, however, if i delete a product... the items in the invoices that have that product will be deleted too

Oops, now I see the differences between Total in column and Total in row. Tomorrow I also try to reproduse such case and take caer on an orders where are deleted products present (or - absend), if it confirmed then need to post a critical bug or even blocking!

Yes, it's a huge problem... I report the issue but if you can do it too, would be veeeery good because it's something that need to fix as soon as possible.

We are in contact, it was a pleasure
