Prestashop 1.5RC2 - autoupgrade to Final?

Sorry if this question is common but I havent found the answer in the forum.

Will it be easy to upgrade to 1.5final if I setup the 1.5RC2 right now?

Yes it will be easy to upgrade to final using 1-click Upgrade module.

That module is still experimental but it should on most configurations.

If not there is manual upgrade that require more time.

thank you for the answer - so in fact i can begin to prepare my shop til 1.5 - final via the RC2? - im running the 1.3.2.3 version at the moment - so im dying to get started with 1.5

 

Im planning to start from scratch on 1.5 - or should i just wait for the final (if it will be released next month)

I checked your website and as it use default theme you have one

less thing to worry about. Also it seams you don't have too many 3rd party modules

or I didn't saw them so when 1.5 final is out, find updated version of these modules.

 

I recommend to try clean install RC2 on local server(WAMP) to check what is new.

Also if you want you can try to copy your live website to local server and try to upgrade

to RC2. Autoupgrade module was working on 1.3 - 1.4 version but now it is renamed

to 1-click Upgrade it says it is for 1.4-1.5. So I am not sure if it work for you.

I have downloaded RC2 - clean on my local server and i already love it - lots of the features i have been missing are present - i will begin the migrating process.
