RPW
Hello, Am a new user of Prestashop. We setup an ecomerce webshop with Prestashop. It took us a while to get it up and running. Now that it is working there seems to be one problem. When somebody places an order through our shop his payment is accepted but he doesnt get a notification saying that his order is placed through the website. Even after the payment he is redirected to the website which shows the items are still in the cart. Secondly I do not get any messages or emails saying that somebody had placed an order. I just get am email from Worldpay(payment module) about the payment once it is processed. This way I never get to find out what order is placed and above all the customer might end up placing an order twice since the website doesnt notify him either that his payment has been accepted but the order hasnt gone through. Suggestions? Solution? I do not know programming so I would appreciate a simple/step by step reply if thats possible. http://www.renewableproductswarehouse.com/ Edited August 17, 2012 by RPW (see edit history)

RPW
Benjamin, The problem is not with Worldpay. My payment module is working fine. I'll try to explain the problem again 1, Customer adds items to the cart 2, Logs in and gets directed to Worlpay 3, Makes the payment 4, Payment's accepted 5, He's directed back to the website which doesnt tell him that his order has been processed but he does get a notification from Worldpay that his payment is processed 6, I being the merchant do not receive any email/message from the website that anyone has placed an order. He pays, I get the payment but the order stays on the website. Doesnt get through for him and never reaches me. I hope this helps.
benjamin utterback
I'm sorry RPW. Let me try to shed some light on how this works. If the Payment is processed, there needs to be some kind of "call" that the WorldPay Module to tell PrestaShop about the order ie. Customer Account Verification, E-mail Verification. That is the issue, seems like a validation issue that comes from WorldPay. So, the problem is with WorldPay "talking" to PrestaShop. I hope that helps! -Benjamin

RPW
I spoke to Worlpay. They said two things could be out of order: 1, We need a payment response failure email address. This could in turn solve the problem that we are having. 2, Secondly, your solution the "call back" URL. We need to set that up. They said they don't do it, the developer does. Can you guys do these two things for us?

RPW
Can you give me contact details of any freelancer whom I can discuss the problem with and get a quote. I have read the forums online and they suggest a minor change of code in either case so I beleive that it would not take long for a person who understands and knows his way around the code. Any suggestions?
