natebc
Hello I'm asking what is better Akamai vs CloudCache? All I know is that they can seep up my online store and I can get Akamai for $3mo and CloudCache for 6mo. Let me know what you all think. Thanks Nate

Dh42
Put all of your stats out it will make it easier to make a suggestion. What size server are you running on? Is it a dedicated machine? Who is your web host and is the sql server on the same physical machine? How many products, where are your images hosted, what have you done thus far to speed things up? The more we know the more we can help.

Dh42
I would get a better hosting plan first. There are over 2000 websites hosted on the machine that you are one. So the server choking could be a big reason.

Trip
Hi Nate, one more thing. You should enable SEO friendly url's. If this can not be done by your host you seriouly should switch hosting imediatly. Best regrads, trip

Dh42
Actually what he was talking about is turning on friendly urls in prestashop, which is basically using .htaccess file to control the redirects.

Dh42
Preferences >> seo and urls, turn friendly urls on. Also go to performance and try turning the ccc options on too. Also make sure your shop is set to cache and that force compile is turned off.
