problem reinstalling viewed products block

Hello,

 

I recently got a small problem with the viewed products block module, so I figured to delete it and then reïnstall the entire (original) module. However, when i tried to reinstall the module either trough BO or trough FTP directly it wont work properly. I am able to see it in the modules list, and i am able to enable (and disable) the module. However I cannot position it in the left column blocks as It says that the module cannot be loaded. When I try to recover the module trough BO, then it says that the module cannot be installed. Does anybode have an idea for me? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you uninstall before deleting the module. Deleting a module while it is installed may leave your DB in an incoonsistent state.

 

For the current problem

- Uninstall if it is installed.

- In any case check that it is not hooked under BO > Modules > Positions > Left columns and Header of pages

- Add the files from install package matching to the installed PrestaShop version

- Install the module again

 

Post any errors if it does not work.
