Is is possible to hide "There are no products?" - SOLVED

I have products listed within subcategories but not the main category.

 

This is so when you click on the main category you only see the thumbnails of the sub categories rather than all of the products.

 

My problem is that when it's set up this way you get 'There are no products' appearing which is misleading as there are plenty of products in the sub categories.

 

Does anyone know if it's possible to either display the number of products within the subcategories or disable the text from showing?

try this (did not test it)

back office-->tools translations-->front office translations, select the language flag (english)

 

now find category-count

for the translation of There are no products.

delete the xlation

scroll to the bottom and save

Thanks for that, it pretty much worked. The only thing is you need to have some text as the translation. If you leave the translation blank "There are no products" still shows so i've changed it to a full stop. Not perfect but it'll do!

Try a space instead of a full stop. That should work for you.
