PayPal Error when a customer wants to pay with PayPal

This is the error message:

PayPal response:

TIMESTAMP -> 2012-08-13T08:59:49Z

L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10002

L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Security error

L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> Security header is not valid

L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error

PayPal Fehlerrücksendung

 

I already contacted PayPal and the said that everything with my account at PayPal is configured properly.

 

Is this a bug in PrestaShop or what might be the solution?

This error indicates that that the PayPal username & password you are using in your API (in your PrestaShop admin) are incorrect.

Authentication/Authorization Failed

Username/Password is incorrect

This error can be caused by an incorrect API username, an incorrect API password, or an invalid API signature. Make sure that all three of these values are correct. For your security, PayPal does not report exactly which of these three values might be in error.

Welcome to the PrestaShop forums! We are happy to have you with us. MaitreGourmet, also, check with PayPal to recieve new, different credentials. They also can provider you with that. Also, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the PayPal module from a fresh download. I hope this helps!
