dt88
Loving the new combinations generator in the BO But hit an issue I have one product which has 500 combinations at present which I want to increase significantly when I apply a quantity combination (printing site test), which will increase the combinations to ~5000 after we give 10 quantity options 1000,2500,5000,10000 ......etc Product page goes blank, see screen dump attached also I noticed we can not delete values in the BO only attributes, which does not delete it in the db sql bit buggy thoughts? tomerg3
Prestashop cannot handle more than 1,000-3,000 combinations per product (it gets out of memory errors). You can check out the module we created to overcome this at http://www.prestashop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/47363-module-attribute-wizard-pro-create-an-unlimited-number-of-attributes-and-display-as-radio-button-checkbox-dropdown-textbox-teaxtarea-files/
dt88
Hi Tomer, Bought it off you yesterday, although I can not seem to customise every combination, only a product variation thus all pricing is linear and I can not get exponential pricing, I have a volume attribute to limit orders in set blocks, I need it to react exponentially as the volumes increase to hit a floor price. For a printing site Attributes $ Impact $ Weight would be nice to have a % element rather than a set $ if that makes sense, I am unsure how you could then get this to react with the other variables also I couldnt see how to turn off certain attributes to refine options of attribute options when a certain attribute has been selected. I love the new layout though How would one remove these memory errors? Edited August 16, 2012 by dt88 (see edit history)
tomerg3
The Wizard Pro module changes the way combinations behave, in order to avoid the memory errors (it uses substantially less combinations). It does not offer dependent combinations, since doing that would result in the same memory errors as before. The only way you can resolve the memory issues is reduce the number of combinations per product. You could use our module selectively, only on certain products (which may not require attribute dependencies).
