ariana2012
Hello Prestashop community experts. I am in dire need of some assistance regarding setting minimum quantity for our store. I'm using Version 1.4.8.2 I am aware of the fact that, you can set minimum quantity for each product in product page in Back Office. However, it works ok if you have a product with no combination or few combinations. We sell wedding cards. Each of our product has 700-800 combinations ( colour, ribbons, etc.). The Problem::: Before implementing prestashop, I was under the impression that If I set minimum quantity on the main product page ( in BO) , that minimum quantity would automatically apply to all the combinations for that product, by default. But that minimum quantity field in "add product" section has NO effect, if you have combinations under that product. You MUST manually set a minimum quantity for each combination under that product. Not to mention, the process of setting minimum quantity for each combination is not very user friendly, if you have lot of combinations. So, to make things easier, we purchased a module from good people of presto-Changeo that allows us to modify all combination values from one single page and save all by one single click. However, you still have to enter minimum quantity manually for each combination. So, as you can see , this method is very impractical if you have hundreds of combinations for single product. What we wish to accomplish::: Almost 99% of our products would have a minimum quanity of 20. Only 1% may have different or no minimum quantity at all. By default, prestashop puts minimum quantity to 1 [Disabled]. How can I set that number to 20 by default for all products and combinations under it throughout catalog. And I want the ability to change something manually if I wish to. So when I create a new product in back office, the "Minimum quantity" should have the value 20 instead of 1 for everything including combinations. Any help regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for all your help.
