Cart hover (curtain style)

Hi I am desperate to emulate what I have seen in a lot of sites.

 

It is a cart link which expands on hover like this site:

Now someone told me that "blockcart2" will work but how to I integrate that into my new theme?

 

I installed module "cartslide" but this doesn't work at all (floated right and doesn't work).
