How to add or remove fields in "create your account form"?

Hi,

 

I want to remove 'Company' field when uses sign up to my website. I have tryed to edit the authentication.tpl which is located in themes/presta053v147/authentication.tpl. ​I dont know what else to and i have tried to change the PHP file in the root of my website but nothing has worked.

 

Please help.

you should turn the input to HIDDEN in authentication.tpl

Thanks for that but i have already deleted the field. And i have had a look at that post before on the forum. Is there any way of me getting a new copy of the authentication.tpl file?

Just make up an email and pretend your are creating an account. I want to delete the field: Companytest

To get a new copy of authentication.tpl you just need to download a Clean version of prestashop and copy this file...

 

Well.... if you turn hidden and even deleted the correct fields it should work..

 

Did you disable the Cache and enable the force compile in back office?

 

 

 

EDIT:

Try this:

 

go to

 

Shipping / Countries / choose your country / Address format:

 

 

 

it Available fields

 

 

firstname lastname

company

vat_number

address1

address2

postcode city

Country: name

phone

 

=========

If that is unnecessary simply remove the field
