Product reservation - Forecast of product availability

First of all, as a new member in this forum let me say Hello to all moderators and forum members.

 

I want to implement the following capability when a product is out of stock :

- allow the customer to be notified when the product is available again

- inform the customer about the forecast about date of stock restoration

 

These two features could be used separatly or concurently

first is covered by the standard mailalerts module. not sure though what your second request is all about
