Shipping option filter needed

Hello;

 

We have a problem with shipping options, as available to non-coders using the Prestashop back office only.

 

Our shipping options include an option for people within our city to choose free delivery (order over $30).

 

Unfortunately Prestashop doesn't seem to provide us with a back office option to filter shipping addresses so that only people with our city addresses can choose the "Delivery within city" option. Some people have chosen this option in error, and we can't process their orders until they send a further payment for shipping. Understandably we can lose orders because we're asking customers to send more money, and engage in more work on their part.

 

What can we do to ensure that only people with a shipping address in our city can choose this option for shipping?

 

I am willing to try script change options, using original code in comments, if the fix is spelled out very exactly.

Maybe someone who did something similar could post here, otherwise, it sounds like you're not asking for help (IE asking a specific questions), but rather asking for someone to write code for you.
