moonstruck180 Posted August 11, 2012 Share Posted August 11, 2012 (edited) Hello, So I have been running a friends Prestashop for awhile now without any problems. I decided to start my own yesterday and manage both. After installing a new one on a new hosting account with a new database, I can not login in to back office at all. I tried wrong passwords and usernames to make sure the error would come up which it did however, when I type in the right information it reloads the same page with no errors. This has happened on two different versions 1.4.8.2 the first install where the problem happened and 1.4.7.2, where the problem still persists. I am using godaddy ultimate hosting service, NEW databases where made for each new installation, and I followed directions exactly. I even cleared the Cache and history like someone suggested and tried several browsers. I should also mention the store itself works great! not a thing wrong with it. What am I doing wrong here? *EDIT* Apparently you have to wait around 2 hours before you can actually login in the first time. Everything is up and running! I wish I could help with your issue of not being able to log in but I can tell you that there's a lot of issues with using godaddy as a web host service. Maybe you can search the forums to take a look but I know many folks here have a lot of download issues with them. just thought I would share this info with you.
