djurre
Hi, I'm new here but read this forum a lot for my website. Today I changed something in the htaccess field, I tried to make a new redirect. When I submitted the htaccess file I got an internal server error message: It says: The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator to inform of the time the error occurred and of anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. ================= How can I remove my Htaccess file without useing the admin pages? I'm only able to go to my ftp but I can't find it there...please help me find this file.
El Patron
typically the .htaccess for most ftp programs will not be seen unless you tell the ftp program to show hidden files... an example using FireFTP...you should first connect then select tools-->options then select show hidden files Edited August 10, 2012 by elpatron (see edit history)
