Add Multiple Options For Products

Hi Guys,

 

So I'm new to PrestaShop and am currently in the process of creating an e-commerce site with hundreds of different products, now some of these products have different options e.g. One item may have an option to be different colours, one may have the option to have different smells and so on. I want to know if there is an on the fly way of simply adding a little drop down box within a product so that a customer can choose their options?

What you need to do is use the combinations tab within your product page to make the drop down menu tabs. 1st set-up your different attributes by smell size or etc, so you can make the combinations to your liking. Hope this helps

Ahhhh okay then, I thought there may be a quicker way? It's just that I have over a hundred products to add to the site, each one may have multiple options and they will vary for each item e.g. one may have different smells as I say but they may differ from another product which also has an option for different smells and I just wanted to be able to add different options to appear within a product as I'm adding all the other info, I didn't want to have to create default combinations each time I want to create new options for a product..if you know what I mean?

of course I know what you mean.. you can also use the products combination generator or may I suggest a great module for a lot of combinations
