ttfan
I'm currently running a Zen-cart shop, and I'm looking to change to Prestashop. My main requirements are: 1. Must have an option to import data from my current Zen-cart database 2. Should run efficient enough to run on shared hosting 3. Should have good SEO features like - Rich snippets of products - canonical product urls - SE friendly URLs 4. RSS feeds 5. Should have good support for Mobile devices. Will it automatically display nicely on a mobile, or do I need a seperate template just for mobiles? Thanks a lot!
shacker
hi. All of this can be managed. FOr mobile, you need the prestashop solution for mobile http://mobile.prestashop.com/fr/ or a solution like this: http://catalogo-onlinersi.net/en/prestashop-mobile/307-pmobile-prestashop-template-for-movile-devices.html
ZenGraph
whaoo Shaker, when i read your post it seems that the mobile application is already available.. but unfortunatly this it not true, people are still waiting for answers from this service http://mobile.prestashop.com/fr/ , and if you look at the shops like smallable saying they are using it.. it's fake can the team give us some news about this very important tool ? ttfan
What part of the service is not working ZenGraph?
ZenGraph
the service does not respond to mails, maybe they don't want to make money..??!!!?? but on my opinion the advertisement on the prestashop website is just FAKE http://www.prestashop.com/en/mobile-app "PrestaShop's mobile application completely wowed me from the second I saw it. This is a great opportunity to offer my customers an additional shopping avenue for Smallable.com." Cécile Roederer, Founder of Smallable.com "Together with PrestaShop's mobile commerce, PayPal sees itself as the "wallet of the future". The application is efficient, flexible, and user friendly. This is a true opportunity for all merchants." Frédéric Biscay, Business Development Manager, PayPal It sounds nice.. but please take a look at smallable.com and tell me where to find mobile application, and i'll be giving appologies for my mistake, but since too many months there is no mobile application online for prestashop working but they still let this page with fake comments, it sounds very bad pratice for me.... I already ask them by email how to get this application running or any exemple online.. still waiting for reply, like people i know with big shops : no answer ^ Best Regards Zen
