DonLuciano
Hi, I am working on rebuilding the photo ratio from squared images to rectangular ones for the entire website that contains more than 300 products. I managed to rebuild the new photos with the new aspect ratio but i got stuck on automating the replacement of the old product photos with the new ones. I found the actual product photo storage in the /img/p folder but they're coded with the category/product serials and i only have the images with their original names. Is there an alternative way for mass replacing the photos for all the products with the corresponding new images? LATER EDIT: I don't think there is a way for solving this as prestashop platform must generate all the images instances and give them the coded name....so ... it is all manual labor Edited August 7, 2012 by DonLuciano (see edit history)

Maybe you should use some PHP functions to rename the image files and then upload them manually to the /img/p folder... try out this search https://www.google.c...chrome&ie=UTF-8 Edited August 7, 2012 by fernandokerber (see edit history)
DonLuciano
Thank you fernandokeber for your sugestion but I think the more complicated work would be to correlate the images to the coded ones not to rename them. For renaming the pictures there are several easier solutions. Anyway, thank you for the response but I figured out that the "manual" approach will have faster and more accurate result.
