logik23
Hello, forgive me if this has been addressed in another post already. I was hopeing someone could tell me where search engines like google get the text that is diplayed underneath the link to your site. currently mine looks like this: Logik Unlimited www.logikunlimited.com/ Welcome, Log in · Cart: 0 item items empty; Your Account · MENS · Womens · Think Tank · Logik Unlimited. Featured products; New products. Black Sheep ... I would like to change it with some info about the company. Thanks in advance for you help. PrestaSupport
It reads text from content in top of your page . You have no content like text on your site so it will read the, "Welcome, log in - cart:0" etc as there is not anything else to index.
ttfan
Google often uses the decription of the 'descrioption meta tag', which you can set yourself for most pages.. Edited August 8, 2012 by ttfan (see edit history)
