DPatton
I have a client who has approached me about solving her issues with her site. It was originally built by a company in Europe. On the back end has been modified to have only 5 tabs (catalog, customers, orders, stats, and tools. And even these tabs are stripped down). How do I go about restoring the other tabs? And is there any way to determine if the account she is using is an employee account or is the actual admin account? I have set up a lamp server to test to figure this out. I have read the process of transferring a cart to a different server and hope to start that this weekend. I am hoping that someone has come across something like this before and can give me a clue. Thank you in advance…
DPatton
BTW, I did find "How to fix missing Modules tab in 1.4.7.2" and am checking that out as well.
DPatton
I also did try to copy the ps_tabs and ps_tabs_lang from mysql and import it into the test server and I couldnt replicate the issue...
Carolina Custom Designs
It sounds like they set her account up as an employee. You can check/change this in the DB. Find table ps_employee then look at field id_profile. If it is not set to '1' change it. This will make the account administrator. That will bring back all tabs. Hope that helps!
