digital downloads disappearing

Hiya

every now and then I get an email from a custom saying the digital download they have ordered is coming up with an error message "File no longer exists"

When I check in the back office there is an error "This product is missing:"

Each time the files in question have been uploaded fine and been working for a while, then one day they just seem to disappear. It not the same file, its any of them and it does seem to happen in batches - everything runs smoothly for months then I get a whole lot of customers having problems in one go.

Does anyone have any idea? Its a huge problem, it means I have to manually check every single listing for problems!

Hello idoityourself. I was wondering if this happens for all products, at some point in time? What version are you running? No it doesn't seem to be, I checked some of the others one's that were loaded up at the same time and they are fine

Another angry customer this morning another product disappeared. Is there a way to escalate this it's becoming a real problem
