Category Pages not working !

Hello Everyone,

 

Please help, this is what i noticed in the category pages of the site am making for a customer.

For example:

First category page gives " category.php?id_category=5 "

Second pages 2,3,4 etc gives " category.php?id_category=5#/page-2 " with # after the 5 and if removed manually, the pages works,

but how do i get this off so it can reads " category.php?id_category=5/page-2 " instead of the stated above.

 

Please any help is appreciated,
