Andrew B
Hi All I have tried this on multiple IE / Chrome etc browsers, different computers etc. Following are details on my setup Prestashop Version: 1.4.8.2 Server information: FreeBSD FreeBSD 6.4-RELEASE-p8 #2 r1019 i386 Server software Version: Apache/1.3.42 (Unix) mod_auth_tkt/2.1.0 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_ssl/2.8.31 OpenSSL/0.9.8r PHP Version: 5.2.17 MySQL Version: 4.1.22 I want to apply an Australian localisation pack however when i went to the Localisation tab, i noticed in the dropdown box next to the "Localization pack you want to import" the error: "Cannot connect to prestashop.com When I press the import button (even though i cant select anything) i get the error at the top of the page Cannot load localization pack (from prestashop.com and from your local folder "localization") any ideas, can i manualy install an Australian localisation pack? See attachment for the picture of the errors. Bump.. anyone anything? Edited July 30, 2012 by Andrew B (see edit history)
phrasespot
"Cannnot connect..." message is probably due to allow_url_fopen not being available. However AU localization should be there by default (see /localization/ directory). Not being able apply a locally available pack (even a remote conn is not available) is a bug, report it at the tracker. Meanwhile you can populate the values manually. In addition to the values on that page, add a curreny (Dollar, AUD, 036) and add states. Open and check the au.xml in a text editor if in doubt of any value. Andrew B
Ive noticed that on the front page, it outlines To receive PrestaShop update warnings, you need to activate the <b>allow_url_fopen</b> command in your <b>php.ini</b> config fil how do i mod this, it seems there is a comms issue.. phrasespot
Locate the settings file for PHP (likely to be php.in) and change the setting: allow_url_fopen = Off to allow_url_fopen = On
scottrotton
Im also having an issue with Local settings, when I import I get the right metrics but when I create an account I only get the option for UK, do I set that somewhere else?
