Search brings up erroneous items

Hello everyone!

 

I apologize if this is the wrong area this is my first post and happy user of Prestashop and appreciate all the help in advance.

 

Now the issue I'm having with my search is that lets say I have an item "Burger King Cheese Burger" and no other item is even remotely named the same.

 

1. If I search "King Burger" I return nothing

2. "Burger Burger" nothing

3. "King Burger" nothing

 

4. But when I search "King Cheese Burger" HIT

5. "Burger King" HIT

 

I guess my issue is that what ever search term is put in the search code isn't breaking it down to (Using example 1) "King" and/or "Burger" then prioritizing the items with most hits to the top

 

Right now it seems that the search is doing (Using Example 1) EXACT MATCH "KING BURGER" No items returned - instead of breaking it down like above

 

Any advice or suggestion is greatly appreciated - been banging my head against the keyboard to solve this issue.

 

Someone also stated that maybe we should make tags for possible search terms but that seems ridiculous for me to sit there and enter tags that I think my customers might search for like tagging it "BURGER CHEESE" "CHEESE KING BURGER" "BURGER KING BURGER" etc.

 

I know my example is ridiculous sorry for that

Are your settings correct in BO > Preferences > Search
