[SOLVED] How to add a new locale value to prestashop ?

Hello

 

I want to add a new locale name/value to prestashop.

 

For example:

 

FR->"Quote"->"Demander un devis"

EN->"Quote"->"Request a quote"

 

I was able to find all the values in tools->translations but could not add more values as needed

Do you mean that you wish to insert a new text-field somewhere on your website, that can be translated via Prestashop backoffice?

 

If so you have to edit the TPL files and insert the text in this manner:

{l s='My new text is here'}

 

After that, you can go to the backoffice and translate that text under the appropriate page.
