rajib217
I have about 1500 products in my shop. I was working on its attributes accidentally I had uploaded combination csv file under category for this reason my all categories are deleted and all products are shown in "List of out of stock products without attribute" I have created all categories again now I want to have all products under these categories. Please give me a solution. Edited July 24, 2012 by rajib217 (see edit history)
phrasespot
Recreating categories will not help because they will get new id numbers and the products still point to old id numbers. If you do not have a backup (hope that was a lesson) you will need to work directly on the DB to first truncate relevant tables (there are several) so the numbering start from 1 then re-create categories and do the necessary connections between categories/products/groups. It is too involved to talk someone through in a forum post. Seek professional help.
