All categories deleted,now all products are shown in List of out of stock products without attribute

I have about 1500 products in my shop. I was working on its attributes accidentally I had uploaded combination csv file under category for this reason my all categories are deleted and all products are shown in

"List of out of stock products without attribute"

I have created all categories again now I want to have all products under these categories. Please give me a solution.

Recreating categories will not help because they will get new id numbers and the products still point to old id numbers. If you do not have a backup (hope that was a lesson) you will need to work directly on the DB to first truncate relevant tables (there are several) so the numbering start from 1 then re-create categories and do the necessary connections between categories/products/groups. It is too involved to talk someone through in a forum post. Seek professional help.
