[SOLVED] e-mail template translation problem

Hello,

 

I am using ver.1.4.8.2 and I start to change the e-mail templates for my shop.

 

All the changes went o.k. but I have few more like follow up, mailalert and referallprogram which I cannot update them.

 

I make all the changes I need and when I press Update Translations I get blank Page.

 

Why this problem?

I don't know what happent at the end (three templates left). When I started everything worked perfectly.

In your config/config.inc.php file, can you please set "display_errors" to "on," refresh the page and try this again, and let us know if you receive any error messages?

As you said I change

and I got the message bellow:

Please contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase the max execution time value on your server.

the max execution time increased from 30 to 300 and works perfectly fine.

 

I suppose I must change now the 'display_errors' back to 'off' to the config file.

Great, I'm glad I could help! This is a limitation on your hosting server, but most hosts are more than happy to up that value to a reasonable level in order for your site to function properly. As for the error reporting, yes, go ahead and turn that back off. Happy selling!

Hi, I have the same problem, but increasing the max execution time from 30 to 300 doesn't help. It looks like the page doesn't respond. What can be done to solve this?

UPDATE: The error message is there after every attempt to update the translations, but the changes are still saved somehow. Weird, but at least it works. Thank you.
