[SOLVED] Moving a live store from Sub-domain to Root

HI fellows,

 

So I have my online shop here, allocated under the subdomain '/tienda'. The site is up and running yet I am looking to move the entire store to the root domain 'tivicr.com' this way people will land on the site directly.

 

Now, is it just something as easy as changing the configuration files to point to the root domain or it gets more complex and I have the store live? What files to change?

 

Maybe is just simpler to add an automatic redirect script to the 'tivicr.com/index.html'? Will this slow down the site considerably?
