Adding and removing padding from the footer 1.4.6.1

Hello,

 

I am having some problems configuring my footer on my website. There are two things that I would like to do:

 

1) Adjust the padding between the various sub-categories under the Categories bar.

2) Create a 10px separation between the end of the footer and the end of the page.

 

Are these possible?
