Orders not showing up in Backorders

Recommended Posts

HI,

I've been using prestashop Version 1.3.2.3 for the last 2 years and as far as i know have never encountered this problem. Nor have I updated or changed anythign recently. However, i realised yesterday that there are 2 orders not showing up in the Backoffice. 1 is for a Paypal order while the order is for a bank wire order.

I only realised this because I have the 'I RUN A SHOP' app on my phone. The app shows that the 2 orders as valid orders but I couldn't find them on the BO and that's when i realised that something was not working. I then counted back the order numbers to see if any other orders were missing and then saw another missing PayPal order on the 13th July.

When i checked back to the customers records of the 3 missing orders, the orders do show up in the account, however, are not listed as 'valid' orders. Also 2 of the orders are blank (i,e, i can't see any products, only the amount payable.)

I've attached some pictures to show what i mean.

I've checked the forum but can't find anything like mine as most people seem to have this problem after upgrading or only with PayPal orders.

If anyone has any idea what the problem could be, i'll be very grateful.

BTW, i'm using logo.gifPayPalAPI v1.0 if that helps.

Thanks in advance!

Just an update to say that if I changed the status update in the order (it at first had no status and i changed it to 'preparation in progress'), it shows up under the BO orders tab.

However, i was only able to do this with one of the 'missing' orders as the other 2 were blank orders (without products) and had no option for me to change the orders status.

I already encountered that problem.

You probably have a module which is executed during the order process.

For me it was the ebay module which was synchronizing stocks and sometimes failed...

If that module fails, your order is not registered in the order history table of the database, and you can't see it anymore...

Prestashop is not developed properly in that part... it's just a big and dangerous bug...

Try to find which of your modules is executing just after an order is made, then update it or disable it, and wait to see if you still have the problem...

I am having the same issue in 1.4.9 It has never happened before but all of a sudden I have three orders that are not showing up in the database or back office. I only know of them because of the paypal notification. Its not happening on all orders. Only some.

I have not upgraded or installed any modules recently.

I am having the same problem after moving to a new server. I have spent hours googling this problem just to find more threads unanswered by Prestashop. I turned my shop back on after moving to the new server and didn't think I had any new orders. But then noticed I had received several PayPal payments for orders. There is no record of the orders in the customer profile, order history, or stats page. Any solutions for this? 1.4.7.3

This is the reason:

-----------------------

If your customer put the items in his cart in one currency, say Euros, & when at the last step of order chooses to pay in another currency like US$ this error happens that you get the order but the inside order is empty.

You should ask your customer from the first stage select the currency he/she desires to pay.

If this happened, what I do is that I delete the order & place the order for the customer exactly same as he placed it.

My Problem if anybody can help:

-----------------------------------------

Today I received an order by emails while I use Ps 1.3.2.3 but there is no information at all in the backoffice or PHPAdmin.

When I check the front office or shop the order placed & you can access the account of customer & everything works perfect & quantity deducted from my stock but in the backoffice the quantity remains same as before & nothing deducted.

Anybody can help?
