aenyx
I'm posting this by my cell phone and the battery is dying so I'm going to make this quick. My shop is at www.domain.com and my SSL cert is at secure.domain.com. How would I exactly configure this? I can add more details later. Thanks. tomerg3
Unless you bought a wildcard SSL (which is pretty expensive), it will only be usable in the exact URL it was bought for.
aenyx
Okay to expand, I have an SSL cert for secure.domain.com, while I want www.domain.com to be my non-SSL domain. I have secure.domain.com set as the "Shop domain name for SSL" and www.domain.com as the "Shop domain name". When I go under Preferences and click the link "Please click here to use HTTPS protocol before enabling SSL." I get a 404 error saying it doesn't exist. I tried copying all the files from the www subdomain to the secure subdomain and it works but cookies don't seem to be working. I do have secure set as a subdomain under the Subdomains menu. Also, despite it working, it doesn't seem like that's the "proper" way of doing this.
tomerg3
To be honest, I have not tried setting up a separate URL for a secure site before.
