[SOLVED] Ensuring customer has reviewed attribute options!

Hi there. I am almost at a point of going live with Prestashop after getting almost everything covered I have one concern in relation to attributes and the apparent way customers can accidentally purchase an item without realising there are attributes to choose from!

 

When a category is selected containing products they are listed down the centre of the page. There is then a temptation for the customer to simply click the "Add to cart" button which puts the default product in the cart.

 

Is there any way to remove the "Add to Cart" button or to add an alert that there are options to be selected without hacking any code. I think you get the picture. If not I have included one below

Hi,

 

In back office => Preferences => Products, you have an option to display (or not) "add to cart button" on category pages when product has attributes.

Thanks for the very fast responses there guys. Mark the server is on a private network at the moment so I can't share it yet. Mellow has pointed to a radio button I had not registered in my head which takes the buy button away from the list view forcing the customer to now view the full product listing which is fine by me.

 

I thought I knew every button in this product, now I know I don't!!
