Multiple product pages in home page?

First of all please forgive my bad English. This is not my native language.

 

To my question now:

 

I want to have multiple products pages in my homepage. Please take a look at the mockup I made with copy paste on my photo editing program. It is attached below.

 

 

And let me clear a bit what I am asking. I have a relative small catalog ( max products number wont be more than 50 ) so I want the customers to see them all in the homepage but not all maximum number at once ( I want to keep the page height constant ). I want 20 products only and then the navigation panel below "Prev ... Next" pages.

 

Is it possible to be done with some module? Do I need to edit any files?

Hello,

 

You can do this with a module. A good way will be to copy homefeatured module and the rename it.

 

Then you will have to modify homefeatured.php and homefeatured.tpl to get the behaviour you want.

I made the module you asked during my developper training this morning.

The navigation is quite different (previous and/or next).

 

You can download it here http://www.file2data.com/download/homefeaturedmod.zip

 

Install this module named homefeaturedmod ( mod stand for modified) desactivate the standard homefeature module.

Translation now are ok, debug info are removed and height was reduced
