aeakers
I am getting the same error after installs of both versions listed in the title. This is immediately after a fresh install, with no changes having been made at all. Have looked at other threads and tried some basic code modifications but none have worked. The error I am getting is: This page contains the following errors: error on line 39 at column 51: EntityRef: expecting ';' Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error. Any ideas? nestawr
If this is a fresh install and not an update then you need to change the file name of the admin folder to whatever you want (eg: backend). Then go to that link (yoursite.com/backend).
aeakers
I have done that, deleted install directory, etc.

aeakers
I have reinstalled multiple times, each time with a fresh database. Have not edited any files. Using Dreamhost. Error differs slightly across browsers: Chrome 21 This page contains the following errors: error on line 35 at column 51: EntityRef: expecting ';' Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error. IE 9 does not show any errors but page loads blank with site name, my username, and link to logout. Firefox 5.01 XML Parsing Error: not well-formedLocation: http://shop.stacksof...anage/index.php Line Number 35, Column 52: - <a href="index.php?tab=AdminEmployees&id_employee=1&updateemployee&token=72b405c8226e26f9d4be49501d5ad489" style="font-size: 10px;"><img src="/img/admin/employee.gif" alt=""/> My preferences</a> Edited July 15, 2012 by aeakers (see edit history)
aeakers
For anyone who might be getting the same errors in the future, I switched from PHP 5.2 Fast CGI to PHP 5.3 CGI, and unchecked the box for Page Speed Optimization.
