raint567
Hello not sure if I am posting on the correct place, but I need some help. I am working on my online store and I am not a webmaster. My question is, I'm trying to have two groups of items one that is ship by First Class Mail USPS and another that is Free local pick up. I want the local pick up to be only local pick up and not be available by USPS. I just can't seem to find a place to "add" the shipping details to the product itself. bellini13
you cannot associate products to carriers. you can only associate total product amount, or total product weight (ranges) to carriers. you can however add a second carrier for local store pickup, but it would apply to all products based on the above ranges (price or weight) If you can provide additional details on what you are trying to configure, I may be able to better assist. raint567
Well I work with computers and I have a lot of laptop parts that I want to sale them online. This is simple and I have no problems. Now I also have laptops for sale and sometime customers want to see what I have in stock. I wanted to display the laptops online with a price, but not to ship them only to have them Local PickUp. I had bad experience selling laptop on ebay, so I just want to stay locally.
bellini13
but the question is, do you want to allow local pickup for every item you sell online?
raint567
yes, anything in the website can be pickup instead of shipping. But not everything can be ship only some particular items.
bellini13
are you using the usps carrier module? or did you manually create a carrier for it? are you using price ranges or weight ranges?
