brendan_rice
Is there are way to hide the en language prefix in the URL? I have looked at a few sources that say it comes from enabled the friendly URL setting. Can anyone help please?
tomerg3
It shows up if you have multiple languages. It is harmless except for the homepage redirect, as it redirects www.yoursite.com to www.yoursite.com/en which is considered bad practice (homepage should not redirect). Our module http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/prestashop-modules/25-duplicate-url-redirect.html takes care of that redirect as well as add many other useful redirects

brendan_rice
I have tried to generate the htaccess file numerous times and still get 404s no matter what. I have copied the htaccess file so you can see it: http://www.gumpshen.com/misc/htaccess.txt Thanks a lot for helping me, I really appreciate it. tomerg3
That's pretty odd, the htaccess seems to be fine.
