San Diego
make your adress as a gif in photoshop with clear background, than give it the name of the footer.gifoverwrite it with ftp.to get the link changed you need to go in the footer php and delete the link or change it.SD

San Diego
you can also write the text you need in the footer php file of your theme, than it appears therei did it with a few thinks it worked you just need to try out the position where to write it, that it appears at the right place.maybe you use firebug for firefox to find the right place in the code.SD

San Diego
no problem, the attvantage of creating a gif is that you also can animate it, and so you can let the words blink or move or what everto let the people more recognize it, the footer is not a area the people recognize very much.SD
jhnstcks
You don't edit any php files. ALl the alterations will be done in your themes footer.tpl file, which is located in your theme folder. In that file you will see this line of code: <!-- Footer --> {$HOOK_FOOTER} Add your text directly after that and it will appear right at the bottom of your page. If you put it before the footer div i think that should add it above your footer links. You can see an example on my site at www.purplegiraffe.co.uk
