Can't Access Back Office

Recommended Posts

I can’t get access to my Back Office, instead of my login window I get the message “HTTP 404 not found”. This happens both in Explorer and Firefox.

I reported it to my host, 123Reg, and they told me;

“The login.php file form the http://www.thetartyb...[xxx]/login.php location has no content and if you access it you will see a blank page.”

When I looked in Filezilla, all of the files except index .php show a 0file size; index.php shows a file size of 4409.

I have not changed or updated anything to cause this failure.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers

Jim

Hi Jim,

If that many files are blank and you have not made any changes, it is possible that someone else has found a way to access your site either through your hosting provider or FTP client. If you have backed up your site previously, I would recommend that you restore it to that backup.

Additionally, I would recommend that you check your database to see if that is still intact. If so, you can always do a clean reinstall of PrestaShop and associate it with that existing database, although if you've made any specific code changes to your files you will likely lose those.
