url problem

Hi,

I configured a prestashop website on a localhost then I moved the site on my domain in a directory.

 

to open the shop I type shop.mydomaine.com or www.mydomaine.com/prestashop/

either way after I press enter the adress becomes www.mydomaine.com/prestashop/

 

What should I do for my address to remain shop.mydomaine.com?

 

PrestaShop: 1.4.7.0

server: Linux #1 SMP Wed Mar 14 14:10:01 EDT 2012 x86_64

soft server: LiteSpeed

PHP: 5.3.10

MySQL: 5.1.61-community

For shop.yourdomain.com to reply you have to have a subdomain. If PrestaShop is installad in a subdirectory of yourdomain.com you cannot reach it as shop.yourdomain.com
