tab file cannot be found

i recently purchased this Previous-Next Navigation addon from prestashop addons,

After installing, when i try to click the "Previous next Navigation" tab under preferences it gives me a message "tab file cannot be found"

 

and neither does the addon show up on the products page as it is supposed to.

 

has someone who purchased this faced the same issue.

 

using prestashop version 1.4.6.2

Note: all other tabs still working fine,

already tried

- reseting and reinstalling the module

- copying the files into admin/tabs folder

- also tried the other steps as mentioned under some other topics of this forum with the same error.

have you contacted the addon author? if they do not respond then I would suggest reporting the author to prestashop so the author can be removed from the store.

 

as for the issue with the module, i can offer my services to review and estimate a fix for the issue.

hi,

 

i've actually contacted the author already and contacted prestashop too.

but havent got a reply yet,

 

am not concerned on the money spent on it, but more to get the site functional, as this is a pretty important feature on the website.

 

thanks anyways for the support on the matter and i shall post to you very soon on this, with the solution if i get one
