Original shopping cart does not display after Prestashop new theme installed.

Dear Prestashop community,

 

I am setting up my first Prestashop 1.4.7 (www.satyprincezna.cz) and everything goes smoothly except for one problem. After I installed Prestashop New Theme, the original "Cart Block 1.2" does not display whether I add it to Right or Left Column blocks. Only the "[Prestashop New Theme] Cart Block" displays, but it has different style and only displays in English, not in Czech as the rest of the shop. Even after I removed the Prestashop New theme (using ftp) and disabled the "[Prestashop New Theme] Cart Block" module, the original Cart block still does not display. Do you know how can I either display the original Cart Block or at least force the "[Prestashop New Theme] Cart Block" to use the localized language?

 

Also, the Special Offers Block 0.8 for some reason now has different style than everything else.

Installing the 'new' theme and then changing to default theme does cause a lot of display problems as two themes (default and new) use different modules etc. The easies way I found to solve the issues is to disable all extrenally visible modules and then re-add the 'new' theme using 'Import/export a theme' module and go with default settings for adding themes etc

Thanks. I actually rather want to keep the original theme. uninstalled the New Theme, unistalled all [New Theme] modules and copied the original Prestashop theme using ftp again into the shop. The problem persists and I still cannot diplay my Cart block. Any advise on how to do this when I actually prefer to stick to the default rather than the New Theme?

Iam assuming you are using my cart block for the default theme (I am not sure if new theme has it). Try resetting the module. Does that help?

if you wanted to keep the Prestashop_New theme, can you display both or only the original cart from the default theme?

 

at the moment the old cart is hidden, but I like the way it displays product pictures,

and the new cart doesn't update products in cart list in the ajax cart until page refresh, only the number of products in the cart.
