[Solved] using animated gifs in prestashop?

Hi

 

is it possible to insert animated gifs into prestashop?

 

I am mainly interested in using them within cms pages

 

Can anybody offer any guidance?

Sure you can add animated gifs. Our homepage banner is an animated gif -- http://shop.carolinacustomdesigns.com.

 

All you would need to do is create your gif; upload it to a folder; add the proper HTML to your cms page (make sure the path to your gif is correct).

 

If you want the same gif to appear on every cms page you will need to add the code to your tpl file.
