zollgut Posted July 7, 2012 Share Posted July 7, 2012 Recently our Google Shopping feed started generating errors and is no longer displaying in Google's search results. The errors it is giving relate to the following missing attributes: Shipping Information, Availability, Recommended Attribute, Google Product Category, Product Type and Brand Can anyone tell me what I need to do to add these attributes to the google feed please? Google explained its shift in "Building a better shopping experience," a May 31 blog post. Google’s stance as stated in this announcement is that "having a commercial relationship with merchants will encourage them to keep their product information fresh and up to date" which "should mean better shopping results for users, which in turn should create higher quality traffic for merchants." Mike Kranzler Posted July 10, 2012 Share Posted July 10, 2012 Hi zollgut, This is an extremely old version of PrestaShop (released two and a half years ago, with more than 50 releases and updates since), and an externally developed module for which we have no way of monitoring or validating the content. Google Shopping will be moving to a paid model soon in the UK too, so it's not worth buying a premium Google Shopping plugin as it'll only be valid for a couple of months.
